Nagarkot
Nagarkot lies about 2100meters above the sea level. It is about 32kilometer far from Kathmandu city . On a clear day people can view the beautiful mountains such as Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang, Gauri Shankar Himal and Mount Everest.
Dhulikhel
Dhulikhel lies about 1550meters above the sea level. It is an old Newar town situated 30 kilometers east of Kathmandu. It lies on the way to Arniko Highway that leads to the Tibet border. Dhulikhel is a perfect spot for the breathtaking views of the Himalayan range from Mount Everest to Ganesh Himal.
Kakani
Kakani lies about 1980meters above the sea level. It takes about one hour drive from Kathmandu city to get to Kakani. Tourist can view Gauri Shankar Himal, Choba Bhamare Himal, Langtang Himal,Ganesh Himal, Manaslu Himal and Himalchuli Peak.
Daman
Daman is 80 kilometers southwest of Kathmandu city that lies 2400 meters above the sea level. Daman is the best place for panoramic views of the Himalaya, from Mount Everest in the east to Dhaulagiri and Annapurna in the west.
